Winter
For me Winter is a favourite time for photography with opportunities for atmospheric images of frosts as well as during and after any snow storms. Other days provide mists or dramatic low sun.
Living in North Yorkshire, within easy reach of the dales, most years provide at least a few days of snow ans 2009 was the best since I have been photographing seriously.
I go skiing at least once per year and the camera always goes with me, often onto the slopes protected in a case and rucksack. I take 2 differnt types of photos on these holidays: images of the mountains and action shots on the slopes in in the snow parks.
