Men's Rugby
Taking photos of Harrogateis in action is both demanding and entertaining when I can follow the progress of the game or contest.
Sometimes the spectators also provide photos that tell a story about the event.
I now use an F2.8 70 to 200 lens on a Nikon D7000 which can be used a high ISO values if necessary.
while taking images that convey a sense of action and movememt often works, I have been trying to capture the contest between between opposing teams or between the performer and the environment. Where posssible I'm looking for the facial expressions that convey the effort involved.
